What is a Kundli and how do I get mine for free?
A Kundli (Janam Kundli or birth chart) maps the sky at the moment you were born. Enter your date, time and place of birth above; Astra calculates your D1 and D9 charts with Lahiri ayanamsha using the free VedAstro API.
How is the daily horoscope calculated?
Astra reads each day from the Moon's transit (Gochar) relative to your Moon sign (Rashi), together with the weekday lord and the lunar phase. Positions come from a built-in astronomical calculation, not pre-written text.
How does Kundli matching work?
Astra uses the traditional Ashtakoota (Guna Milan) method: eight factors scored out of 36 from both partners' Moon nakshatra and sign. A score of 18 or more is traditionally considered acceptable.
Which is my Moon sign (Rashi)?
Your Rashi is the zodiac sign the Moon occupied when you were born. Calculate your birth chart above; Astra shows it in the Vedic profile and selects it in the horoscope section.
Are the advisors and payments real?
Not yet. Astra is a prototype: advisor chat replies are scripted and wallet money is simulated. No payment details are collected.
